About the Bonnyville & District Museum

Visit the Bonnyville & District Museum to learn about our history and the impressive collection of artifacts relevant to the development and settling of the Bonnyville Region.

Two large buildings house a significant collection of early agricultural and industrial equipment and machinery – including restored tractors, a steam engine tractor, and early welding and woodworking equipment.

The main building is home to the Clementine Poltras collection of folk-art miniatures and a working display of post-war Lionel model trains. A walk-through arch is dedicated to the French pioneers, the founders of Bonnyville in 1907.
