We welcome you to experience the inspiring stories and diverse history of the Bonnyville District as you explore our 13 buildings and picturesque 3 acre grounds.
The Bonnyville & District Museum houses an impressive collection of articfacts revelant to the development and settliny of the Bonnyville Region.
A 7-meter high statue of Angus Shaw, a late 1700s fur trader and explorer, stands forposterity's sakes as a reminder of Shaw's contribution to the fur trade in Western Canada.
On site are two churches, a replica of Durllngville School-house, the 1920s Vallée Store, an expansive hospital display, a representation of Angus Shaw's NorthWest Company post, the Bonnyville water tower, and a quaint, 1907 house that typifies pioneer life as it was in the early years of settlement in Bonnyville.
